  1. Secretariat is sending out an internal survey to vote on membership expansion, membership dues, and meeting cadence. Due to the fact we did not reach a quorum.
  2. Working to revise the mission and vision from input received from the Collaborative Body.

  1. Secretariat and Executive Committee will share summary paper from February annual meeting regarding data modernization perspectives from the Collaborative Body for Collaborative Body review.
  2. ExeCC Concept Paper Workgroup will share the Concept Paper summary for Collaborative Body review.

February 25, 2022

  1. Build off of the discussion from the Collaborative Body in the world café breakout groups to inform a report on the recommendations for data modernization.
  2. Convene a re-envisioning and sustainability workgroup, led by Walter Suarez (Kaiser Permanente) and Bob Harmon (Cerner).
  3. Hold nominations and election process for Chair position, At-Large and Public Health on Executive Committee in May/June.

October 7, 2021

  1. The Executive Committee will be sending out a survey to prioritize the approaches they will suggest based on the reports that are currently in review.

July 8, 2021

  1. The Collaborative Body approved the following organizations to join the Digital Bridge Collaborative Body: SAS and National Coalition on Health Care.
  2. Will move forward to finalize the Public Health API concept paper.

The Collaborative Body approved the following organizations to join the Digital Bridge Collaborative Body: NAACCR, NCI, OCHIN, SHIEC, Sequoia Project, and American Cancer Society.


January 22, 2021

Digital Bridge Collaborative Body and external stakeholders met during the January annual meeting on Thursday, January 21st and Friday, January 22nd. Decisions made include: (1) The Collaborative Body approved the public health API white paper as version 1.0, with subsequent edits to be made including updates to the eCR section and updates to the building blocks figure and (2) a combined use case to work on the initial tasks of the proposed work.


November 5, 2020

(1) The Newly Reportable Conditions using eCR Infrastructure and Cancer Registries use cases were voted to move forward and collaborate where their work aligns, (2) The Collaborative Body will respond to a questionnaire from the Secretariat on their interest, capacity, and willingness to work on the Skilled Nursing Facilities Reporting proposal, (3) The Public Health API White Paper is published on the Digital Bridge website as a working document to public comment and will be approved as final at the January virtual meeting.


September 10, 2020

(1) The Digital Bridge Immunization Registries Workgroup will not move forward with its use case at this time; the Workgroup will continue to monitor progress of the IZ Gateway project and reduce its cadence of meetings. (2) The Collaborative Body will provide a recommendation to the Newly Reportable Conditions workgroup at its November 5 meeting, after hearing from the remaining two workgroups. The Newly Reportable Conditions workgroup will pause its work until then.
